Linda Kay Grant, age 61 died Thursday, December 13.

She was born December 21, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Merlin Jay and Iva Romaine (Selle) McKeon. On August 15, 1971 she married Gary Grant, who survives. She was President and CEO of Wedding Dreams and Grant’s Catering and was previously employed as a registered nurse for Paulding Hospital and Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne. She was a member of Woodburn Missionary Church.

Linda’s zest for life and helping others will never be forgotten. As President and CEO of Wedding Dreams and Grant’s Catering, she touched the lives of thousands of Brides & Grooms. Through her devotion to family and friends, she brought happiness, security and a sense of calm to others. Linda will always be remembered for her leadership in the community, her warm, friendly personality and hard working, patient, goal-oriented lifestyle. She demonstrated courage and determination throughout her life, giving her children and grandchildren a role model beyond words. Her family looks forward to continuing the business for many years as a tribute to her legacy.

She is survived by her mother, Iva McKeon, Pinconning, MI; husband, Gary Grant, Paulding; children: Heidi (Jerry) Stebleton, Lima, OH, Brian (Jamie) Grant, Saugus, CA, Brandon (Jennifer) Grant, Antwerp, OH, and Holly Grant, Ft. Wayne, IN; three brothers: Virgil (Joan) McKeon, and Randy (Jill) McKeon, both of Pinconning, and Clyde (Nancy) McKeon of Standish, MI; four sisters, Gloria (Albert) Bourdon, Fenton, MI, Elaine (John) Poyner, Surprise, AZ, Lorraine (Mike) Grumbley of Linwood, MI, and Karen (Jay) Bishop of Pinconning, MI; 14 grandchildren: Shaina, Logan, Gracie, Kailey, Philip, Hunter, Hailey, Hayden, Taylor, Victoria, Noah, Danica, Irelynn and Drystan.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, December 18 at Woodburn Missionary Church, Woodburn, IN, with Pastor Joel DeSelm officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding, OH.

Visitation will be 1-9PM Monday, December 17 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.

To honor Linda’s requests the family asks in lieu of flowers, throws, wind chimes, statuary, etc. donations may be made to Chief Ministry Arizona or Outreach Ministry Star 88.3.
